I Need a Dt360A piston!
New here! Finally getting around to workimg on pop's old DT. Got a Rex's ignition kit on the way, Cylinder bore in great shape but I need a piston. Anybody here have pistons and rings for sale? Found a small crack on my piston skirt. The existing piston has .020 stamped on the head, and RT2 embossed inside it. I'm assuming that's not a dt360A piston? Should I find another RT2 .020 piston or go back with a dt360A piston? From my measuring attempts with a caliper this is what I gathered:
Piston diameter
Just below rings 80.21mm
@ Wrist pin 80.38mm
@ piston Skirt 80.37mm
Cylinder
Near Skirt 80.46mm
Near Top 80.49mm
Ill take the jug and piston to work tomorrow and try to get a better measurement with a t-guage and micrometer.

Hi Clayton . . . We took down the messaging/chat feature that was on the site, because it was slowing down the site's response time ... by too much.
Both Devin and I sent several messages to you before we removed the messaging feature.
I had listed several alternative ways I could be reached, but apparently those slipped by you. Also note, I don't have a Facebook account, so that's not a workable solution.
As for the current status on your cylinder, It's pretty much done, but sitting in my parts cleaner, which is in my unheated garage. I say sitting, because it's the middle of winter, and I'm waiting for a warm(er) day to come along to finish cleaning it and do the final clearance check. BTW, . . . our high today, is only -2 degrees.
I think you said "no hurry" last time I updated you, but that was a while ago. I've not cashed your check for the piston set yet
