JT piston
Reaching out to Enduronut (Dave) in regards to purchasing a new piston for my JT mini enduro. I’m not sure if this engine is from a JT1 or 2 but I’m hoping that won’t matter. I will have our QC guy at work check the bore measurements as per my service manual and will update this post early next week with the results. I am simply looking to verify if you still have a few in stock like you had recently stated in a different thread.
I am embarrassed to say that I shattered this piston while tearing it down to split the cases for a transmission problem. I spun off the nut on the output gear with a pneumatic impact gun and didn’t secure the connecting rod with piston attached. Duh…..
The engine ran fine as seen in this video. But it shifts like a box of rocks. So unfortunately I am now doing the top end as well. Hope to sort out all these issues over the winter months and have this little bad boy ready in the spring.
Is that not the coolest expansion chamber ever? Found it on eBay and had to slightly modify a few items to make it fit properly. I’ve never seen a downswept pipe on a JT.

Good morning,
A company in Australia called Moto Retro appear to have a first and second oversize piston and rings if still required.
