This is a brand new sprocket, NOS (New old stock). It is 50+ years old, and has some shelf wear. If using for a restoration, you might want to give it a fresh coat of paint. You can bolt it on the bike and begin riding immediately. It is highly recommended that you also change the front countershaft sprocket and chain at the same time, or this sprocket will wear out quicker.

This sprocket has 44th teeth, which is what was standard on the DT1. 44 tooth was not the standard for all models that this sprocket will fit. The front sprocket can be changed out, to achieve the desired gear ratio, while maintaining the original look. 

The center hole is oblong shape, to allow you to easily remove the circlip. This is how Yamaha made it in 1969 and later. The 1968 Yamaha DT1 Sprocket center hole was perfectly round. This sprocket will fit the 1968 Yamaha DT1, though it would not be concourse correct. The reproduction sprocket, I sell is the 1968 Yamaha DT1 sprocket. It will also fit all the other models listed as well.
