I believe this rod was used on all 125cc and 175cc Yamaha Enduro & MX models from 1969 - 1976, and then continued to be used on other models such as the YZ & IT models, clear into the 1980's.

NOTE: This rarer version of the 248 rod, has the lower bearing "oiling slots", which make it much more desirable in performance applications.
