Welcome to the Yamaha WR two stroke motorcycle page. The Yamaha IT models were competition Enduros, that had its line up end in 1986 (in the USA). 1989 was the first year for the WR, in the USA. The first model was called the YZ250WR. It had a wide ratio transmission. Some Yamaha Wr models had lights. They were a modern version of the IT models. The Vintage Yamaha two stroke WR models came in different sizes, such as, The WR200, WR250, WR500 cc. They were a great woods dirt bike.
