This part is no longer available from Yamaha. It has been discontinued. This part is a new reproduction of the original. The originals have been worn down, from being ridden. The part number is used for reference purposes only and no source of manufacture or supply is implied. These are a great replacement at a fair price. The part is comparable to the original. It is concourse correct for the 1968 Yamaha DT1. This sprocket has 44th teeth, which is what was standard on the 1968 DT1. The front sprocket can be changed out, to achieve the desired gear ratio, while maintaining the original look. Made from 20CrMnTi steel. It also has been heat treated and zinc plated. The heat treatment was done to improve durability, by significantly increasing its hardness and wear resistance. This steel sprocket will last much longer then any of the aluminum sprockets being made. This is the display/prototype sprocket. Only 1 is available at this time. Many more will be available shortly.
