DT 250 C turn signal problem

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the electrical system on my DT 250 C.

When I turn on the turn signals, the tail light gets noticeably dimmer. Is this normal for the original 6-volt electrical system, or is it a sign that something is wrong?

If it’s not normal, where should I start looking? The battery, ground connections, voltage regulator, or something else?

Thanks for any advice!

I would clean all of your grounds and connections. It will only help. I will mention that this is pretty normal. If you are riding the bike, the RPMs will be higher and more current will be generated, so it will not be as bad compared to idle.
