Easy start for your RT

Yes, that so and so can make a right mess of your ankle and smash your feet up pretty bad.

I got this idea from watching a video clip by Micou Meekoo on YouTube.

He lowered the compression by fitting several standard head gaskets .

So I started digging. There's was a company in Arizona who advertised on ebay.com , coppergasket63 and he will make you a copper head gasket to your desired thickness.

I got mine 3 times thicker than standard.

Get some Permatex , apply it to the gasket and let it dry overnight. When you're ready to do the job

apply more to the cylinder sealing face and the head. Put the gasket on and fit the head. Torque the head down and leave it overnight.

Make sure the flange face of the carb is square too.

Get yourself a longer reach plug or you will get running problems. That's a must if you go 3 or 4 times thicker.

4 times thicker is the thickest you can go for a single gasket. He deals in Metric and US imperial.

My bike now is loads easier to start and doesn't spit back anywhere near the same and doesn't smash your feet up. It will do just over 70 mph and the exhaust is dry as a bone.
