Thanks Dave. The rear sprocket is something else, maybe the PO rode in the mountains or up them 😂.

When I picked up my CT1-B it had a very large alloy rear sprocket too, but not one that appears to bolt onto the original sprocket like this one.

Despite a very reasonable offer from Enduronut on the beautiful tank shown, the shipping and taxes push the price up to nearly double.

I've managed to find a rough CT1-C tank here in the UK which I will be tidying up and painting Pearl White.

Here's the before photos, might be a while before the after photos appear 🙂

Other than flatting the clear coat, the tank is done.

I'm very happy with how it turned out.

The Ford UG pearl was a 2 can aerosol system, colour coat then pearl coat.

I normally use my spray gun for the whole job, but for this one, it's only the clear coat that is 2K and was applied with my spray gun.

It's a slightly warmer white than the 55 year old original paint, but I'm happy to leave the other tinware original just like the rest of the bike.
