I am looking for battery Breather pipe decal 393-10. I don't know if they are the same for the GT and the DT. I have one that I was able to remove pretty much intact. I checked around but no one seems interested in doing a repro. Thanks......Steve

Now available
After a couple weeks working on fixing the flaws, it is now being made.
I will let you know the final result.
I received my proto type today. I know why all the companies turned you down. two companies, also, turned me down. It makes it even more difficult, because, there is no great decal to copy. The ones being copied, are 50 years old, with flaws. This was my first attempt at making decals. Now, I have to fix the flaws, and do a 2nd printing.
Advancing to Phase 2 improvement:
Fix flaws:
The image printed is exactly as the original was. The foil has stains (splatter effect with inconsistent color).
The black is not deep black enough
measurements slightly off
edges are also slightly off.
My next update might be awhile, I have to clean up all the flaws in my editing program, before the next attempt.
Thanks for the reply and info. I currently am restoring (2) GT1's and just finished up a 83 DT80.
My son and I have DT400's and 250's as well.
I like to restore mine back to factory stock.
I would not mind pitching in to have some made.
Thanks
Hey Steve,
The model code 393 was used in 1973-1976 GT80 Enduro models. I am not sure who you contacted, but I suspect if you contacted the big companies, and they turned you down, they did not see any profit gain in making it. The big name companies are already making similar decals, for different big bore models (Yambits, Diablo Cycle, etc,). You could have it made by a company that specializes in foil decals only. They would make it by request only, and not re-sell them to the public.
I know someone that made foil decals. I had some made 8 years ago. I am not sure if he is still doing it. I sent him an email. I also sent an email to DEET (he said he has never had a need to make them).
If you are unable to find anyone, I could give it a try, as I and others will need those. Here is a decal picture to supplement what you posted.
