Had the enginless DT over 10 years, decided to try this spare '79 DT175 engine, pipe clearance is the first issue, going to try and aquire the correct exhaust next I suppose
My daughter likes it too, she doesn't want me to change it, going with stock style seat cover, I bought the complete seat like you see it, it is a good color match
Made some progress, slowly collecting parts, fitted 21" front wheel from a first generation mono DT125, seat looks weird, will be using a stock style seat cover on it, liking the look so far, NOT building a custom, resto-mod, or special, my build style is one I call "as ridden" where only period modifications or period parts are showing, (excluding tires and hand grips) this bike will be a rider and replace my current "Farm Bike" giving the AT1 a well deserved rest, having difficulty posting pics, will try again later
Thanks Devin for getting the photo thing sorted ๐

Keep posting pics...... anxious to see how it turns out.
Got a pipe for it, all the clearances look good, going ahead and ordering gaskets, seals, etc. The TY seat will do until I get a repairable seat base
